TMNT also has the nostalgia appeal so I was able to convince way more people to play couch coop with me. The turtles zip around the screen but SoR4 feels more like a 2d fighting game, ie street fighter, but in a beat em up environment. The best thing about TMNT is how fast the movement is compared to SoR4. I don't think TMNT has the same depth of gameplay mechanics that SoR4 has so I doubt I'll get above 40 hours.

So I would love qol update with a stage select and the option for more than one story mode save file. This is annoying because then my son can't use story mode for a stage select on normal difficulty. So I want to replay levels on hard mode but I would have to replay story mode and erase my old game on normal. My biggest grip is story mode and stage select are the same thing. TMNT is more arcadey, and you don't really need to learn combos because everything is a combo. TMNT is also great, but I would say wait until it's on sale. I'm currently on level 12 on mania difficulty, after that I'll try to beat it on the final difficulty mania +. SoR4 as has ranking system based on points so if you want to master the levels you can aim for getting S ranks. There are only 12 levels, TMNT has 16, but I think 12 is better because if you play arcade mode it's an hour and a half vs something like 2 hours and 15 mins, TMNT over stays it's welcome for arcade mode, it's too long to sit through I'm a single play through. There are also 6 levels of difficulty to make it easier or play the game over and over to master your character and combo techniques.

The fighting mechanics are amazing, the combos are fantastic, and the enemies have a good amount of variety and you have to learn how to beat all enemies and bosses to get good at the game. My play time for SoR 4 is around 80 hours now.
